• Attempt to access other members' accounts or our systems without authorisation

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Creating a profile and browsing members is free. Premium features require a subscription. By subscribing:

• You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are issued only where required by applicable consumer protection law
• Prices may change with reasonable advance notice

6. Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, profile text). By posting it, you grant Velvet One a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content to other members as part of operating the platform. You confirm that you own the rights to any content you post.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. On termination, your profile will be removed from public view. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.

8. Disclaimer

Velvet One provides a platform to connect people — we do not guarantee that you will find a match. We are not responsible for the behaviour of members outside the platform. Always exercise personal judgment when meeting someone you've connected with online.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velvet One shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the three months prior to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings. If you have a concern about the platform, please contact us first — we aim to resolve all issues fairly and promptly.
